F.A.Q.s

  • Is there State Sales Tax or Shipping Costs on my order?

Orders shipped within Pennsylvania are subject to 6% Sales Tax. We do not collect sales tax for orders delivered outside PA. The consumer is responsible to pay sales tax on any purchase which is otherwise subject to state or local taxes.  Free Shipping is included on all "Qualified" Replacement Cushion Orders.
  • How quickly will I receive my new LaneVenture WeatherMaster Replacement Cushions or Furniture after I place my order?

Lane Venture Replacement Cushion Orders will usually arrive in about 4-6 weeks.  Most Cushion Orders ship via UPS or FedEx which can be left on your porch. Larger Cushion Orders are shipped via Old Dominion Freight Lines which require that someone receive & sign for the shipment.  Lane Weathermaster Furniture Orders via "Curbside" Delivery will usually arrive in about 4-6 weeks. Please place your order in advance to allow for minor delays which may occur during peak ordering season from April to July .
  • Why are Prices for many LaneVenture WeatherMaster Products not displayed on your website?

Please Submit a Pricing Request by including all items & quantities needed.  This will allow us to reply with an appropriate discount based on the overall volume of your order.
  • I am unsure which LaneVenture Furniture Collection I have.  How can I be certain before I place an order for replacement cushions?

Lane Venture Repalcement Cushions are not interchangeable between collections.  Please email pictures of your LaneVenture Furniture to SALES@WICKEREAST.COM  or call (717) 591-9900 and we will assist you in identification.
  • Does LaneVenture sell replacement "Covers" for my original WeatherMaster cushions which would allow me to reuse my seat and back cushion cores to reduce my total cost?

Yes, LaneVenture does sell replacement fabric "Casings" for "Curent Furniture" Seat & Back cushions, although this is not always a recommended option. Typically after years of use the core in your old cushion has become compressed and flattened to the point that there is a noticeable loss of thickness as well as overall comfort. This condition will result in the new fabric "Casing" appearing to be loose when applied over your old cushion core.  Please contact us for pricing if you wish to pursue this option.
  • Why are there different Grades and Prices for fabrics?

The Grade of fabrics is based on the cost per yard from manufacturers such as Sunbrella & Outdura. This process takes into consideration the composition of the fabric such as solution dyed acrylic, as well as the overall size, color, and complexity of producing an individual pattern. Solid color fabrics found in Grade A are the least costly to produce.
  • Do higher price fabrics always outperform a lesser price fabric from the standpoint of wear or fading?

No, Solution Dyed Acrylic Fabrics such as Sunbrella & Outdura perform equally regardless of the Grade.
  • Do certain fabric colors perform better than others when used outdoors?

Fading is not a significant factor when you select a Solution Dyed fabric such as Sunbrella or Outdura for this application.
  • Is mildew ever a factor with outdoor cushions?

Occasionally. Mildew grows on dirt, pollen or other organic matter which collects on the surface of a material which remains damp and shaded for extended periods of time. This condition is most prevalent on covered or screened porches, as well as fully exposed areas, particularly with northern exposure. Cushions should be kept clean using  LaneVenture Care & Maintenance Instructions or Sunbrella® Care & Cleaning Instructions.  Keep a close watch for this condition during long periods of overcast and humid weather, even if you are currently using outdoor furniture covers. Although excessive sunlight is not recommended, a moderate amount will actually help to curtail this problem.
  • Is it necessary to store my cushions indoors during the winter season if I already have outdoor covers for my furniture?

It is recommended that both furniture and cushions be stored indoors during the off season whenever possible. Cushions should always be removed and stored in a dry location. Mice and squirrels may destroy cushions when left outside during the cold season. The use of Outdoor Protective Furniture Covers are also recommended.
  • What can I do to extend the lifespan and appearance of my new furniture or replacement cushions?

Keep your cushions & frames clean using LaneVenture Care & Maintenance Instructions.  When using these products indoors, use blinds or shades to filter direct sunlight from windows as well as overhead skylights. When using these products under a covered porch, the use of outdoor furniture covers is suggested to help shield the cushions and frames from the natural elements as well as dirt and pollen in the air. In a fully exposed outdoor situation, Solution Dyed Fabrics such as Sunbrella Brand and outdoor furniture covers are strongly recommended. When possible, always store your frames and cushions indoors during the off season to protect your investment.
